Equipment introduction

General photography (Canon Medical KXO50S)

Image processing device (Console Advance, CALNEO Flow G47 manufactured by Fuji Film Medical)

By adopting the FPD (Flat Panel Detector) device made by Fuji Film Co., Ltd. as the detector, it is possible to reduce the exposure dose by about 20% compared to the conventional device. In addition, exposure dose can be greatly reduced by using Fujifilm's unique virtual grid technology. Images can be checked in real time during imaging, enabling rapid inspection.

CT

CT device

Siemens SOMATOM Perspective

A 64-slice multi-slice CT enables examination of various parts of the body, from the head to the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and upper and lower limbs, while holding the breath for a short period of time. Equipped with CareDose4, it is possible to perform examinations with the minimum exposure dose required.
In addition, we have newly introduced a network-compatible 3D workstation to perform cardiac CT examinations.

MRI

MRI machine

Siemens MAGNETOM ESSENZA

We have introduced a Siemens MRI (1.5T). Instead of radiation, magnets can be used to image the inside of the human body. The examination will be completed just by lying down on the bed for 20 to 30 minutes.

This equipment is equipped with the Tim system and is an MRI developed with the concept of achieving both high quality and cost reduction.

Equipped with “syngo BLADE,” which is a motion correction that can be used for examinations that are likely to cause body movement, such as elderly patients with dementia and children. Although the image reconstruction time is slightly extended, retakes are reduced and stable image quality can be obtained.

X-ray fluoroscope

Siemens LUMINOS Session

This device uses X-rays to image (fluoroscopy) the inside of the human body in real time.
The FPD (Flat Panel Detector) is used to achieve high image quality and low radiation exposure.
In addition, it is possible to obtain a wide range of fluoroscopic images with a large flat panel detector of 17 x 17 inches.

骨密度測定

bone densitometer

bone densitometer

"Osteoporosis" is a condition in which fractures are easily fractured due to minor sports or light impacts. It is a common condition among the elderly, especially postmenopausal women. This device performs a quick and precise examination and measures bone density.

マンモグラフィ

Mammography

AMULET Innovality manufactured by Fujifilm Medical

Digital mammography [AMULET Innovality] manufactured by Fuji Film Co., Ltd. has been introduced.
This equipment is equipped with a new type of X-ray detector (flat panel detector), which enables imaging with extremely low X-ray doses.
In addition, the Fit-Sweet compression plate gently fits the entire breast, dispersing the pressure and relieving pain during breast compression, making it possible to provide patient-friendly, high-quality examinations.

<For those who wish to have mammography>

Our hospital employs female radiological technologists who have completed specialized training. All breast cancer screenings are handled by female staff, from interviews to photography (mammography). Mammography is an effective test for detecting small lumps that are difficult to diagnose by palpation, as well as minute calcified breast cancers before becoming lumps. A dedicated breast X-ray machine is used to compress the breast between two plates. You may feel pain due to the pressure, but the compression plate of our hospital uses a soft material, so you can minimize the pain. The examination takes about 5-10 minutes, but the radiation exposure is only a few seconds. In recent years, the number of breast cancer cases has increased due to the diversification of dietary habits and lifestyles. However, breast cancer is said to be a highly curable disease if detected early. To save your life from breast cancer, why don't you take a breast cancer check-up once? Early detection and early treatment are very important. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

angiography room

About the Angiography Room

In October 2015, the angiography room started operation.

In the angiography room, examinations and treatments of the heart and blood vessels can be performed. Diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as angina pectoris and myocardial infarction. It can also measure blood pressure and cardiac output at various points in the heart to assess cardiac function. In addition, various examinations and examinations such as inferior vena cava filter insertion and pacemaker implantation for the purpose of preventing pulmonary embolism caused by deep vein thrombosis, treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower extremities, treatment of shunt stenosis, etc. treatment can be done.

Most of these examinations and treatments are performed by inserting a thin tube (catheter) that reaches the heart from an artery or vein in the wrist, elbow, or groin, and is considered to be less invasive to the human body. The new angiography room is equipped with the latest angiography equipment and medical equipment.

angiography system Artis one

In terms of angiography equipment, we have introduced the Siemens "Artis one".
Compared to the company's conventional models, this device provides sharper images, enabling more accurate diagnosis.
In addition, it is equipped with the latest technology called "Heart Sweep", which makes it possible to image multiple coronary arteries at once. By taking images at once, it is possible to reduce the patient's exposure to radiation and the amount of contrast medium administered.

Furthermore, it is equipped with the world's highest level of radiation exposure reduction technology, and is a device that considers to provide patients with safer and more secure examinations and treatments.

Other medical examination equipment

The cardiac catheterization laboratory is also equipped with percutaneous circulatory support devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP) and percutaneous cardiopulmonary support (PCPS) for the treatment of severe heart disease and serious conditions such as cardiogenic shock. We have established a system that can respond immediately to patients who are in a life-threatening crisis.
In addition, we have introduced various devices such as a polygraph device that monitors circulatory dynamics in cardiac catheterization and treatment, an intravascular ultrasound device (IVUS) that is essential for endovascular treatment, and FFR/iFR that evaluates the function of coronary artery stenosis. It has been.

Extracorporeal impact lithotripsy device

Dornier DeltaⅡ

Since 2002, we have been the only hospital in the Amagi/Asakura area to perform extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for kidney stones and ureteral stones. Although it depends on the location and size of the calculus, treatment can basically be done with a short hospital stay.
In March 2014, the equipment was updated to Dornier's extracorporeal shock wave stone crusher "Dornier Delta II". This device (Dornier Delta II) is equipped with a powerful and safe stone breaking function.

Endoscopy room

electronic endoscope

We perform oral endoscopy and nasal endoscopy. We test and decide which one is right for you.

Normally, an endoscopy is performed through the mouth, but during the examination, you may feel nauseous.

"I sometimes feel nauseous during the examination."

In contrast, an endoscope inserted through the nose passes through the nasal cavity and into the esophagus. There is almost no gag reflex because the base of the tongue is not touched. Removing the gag reflex factor solved this conundrum. In this way, the nontraditional approach results in a significant reduction in the pain of endoscopy.

Operating room

Cleanliness in the operating room

The class level is a unit defined by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and is used to indicate the cleanliness level in the operating room. Numbers indicate the number of dust particles and bacteria floating in the air. The standard for general operating rooms is Class 10000, and the lower the number, the cleaner the room.

lighting in the operating room

We have adopted Aberchtold's latest operating lights, and this time we have installed a 3CCD camera in each shadowless light in each room so that the conditions during surgery can be photographed, checked, and recorded in real time.

Surgery at our hospital is performed at any time in departments such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, digestive surgery, urology, and plastic surgery.
