Rehabilitation at Kensei Asakura Hospital
Rehabilitation at our hospital includes rehabilitation at the time of admission, outpatient rehabilitation after discharge, and home-visit rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation to support home life. We create programs according to the patient's condition at that time, and strive to support the patient's functional recovery and social reintegration. In addition, the therapist in charge will support each phase, but the patient may be involved with multiple therapists in a series of processes. We are also strengthening cooperation between staff so that therapists can communicate well and share knowledge and wisdom to provide better support.
<Rehabilitation in hospital>
Acute general ward
After the onset of symptoms, we manage the general condition and provide rehabilitation for those who need medical treatment. Since it is important to encourage exercise from an early stage, we will carry out rehabilitation according to the condition in cooperation with multidisciplinary professionals such as doctors and nurses.
Regional Comprehensive Care Ward
Patients in the acute to subacute stages are admitted depending on their condition. While implementing early rehabilitation in the same way as in the acute phase, we will also encourage those who are in a recovery state to acquire activities of daily living.
Kaifukuki Rehabilitation Ward
Rehabilitation is performed with the aim of functional recovery and social reintegration for those with target diseases. We provide comprehensive rehabilitation 365 days a year. Rehabilitation that considers activities of daily living and life-related activities is also important.
<Outpatient Rehabilitation>
Rehabilitation is provided for those who are able to lead a daily life but have trouble with specific movements or who need follow-up after being discharged from the hospital. You will have regular check-ups with your doctor to monitor your progress. We will check the movements that hinder your daily life and work together with the patient to improve them.
<Rehabilitation through visits>
For those who find it difficult to go to the hospital, the therapist will visit your home and carry out rehabilitation. Depending on your age and illness, you can use either medical insurance or long-term care insurance. Experienced staff will give advice while directly checking the environment such as your home, so you can expect it to be easy to connect to your life.
